Lease Luxury Car - BMW Lease, Mercedes Lease, Lexus Lexus, Audi Lease

The term, lease luxury car, generally refers to the concept of leasing an expensive automobile to reduce the cost of ownership, although, with leasing, you don't actually own the vehicle. It does, however, allow one to drive a more expensive automobile than would otherwise be possible, while conserving cash for other purposes.

Because many high-end car models, such as Mercedes, Lexus, Porsche, Audi, and BMW, have very high resale values (and high lease-end residuals), to lease a luxury car can often be no more expensive than leasing a much less expensive car that has a lower lease-end residual. The advantages of leasing are much more pronounced for such luxury car models.

Although price discounting is not common for luxury models, high lease residuals can compensate and have the same effect.

Luxury models of Mercedes, Lexus, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Land Rover, Infiniti, and Acura are more often leased than purchased with a loan. In fact, luxury cars have the highest lease-buy ratio of any vehicle category.

Generally, people who lease luxury cars are more money-savvy than the average automotive consumer and know that tying up cash in rapidly depreciating assets (motor vehicles) is not wise. Leasing provides the opportunity to effectively retain cash that can be used for more productive purposes.

The best luxury car leases are usually those that are subvented by the car manufacturer and advertised nationally or regionally. For example, good deals on a BMW lease, Mercedes lease, or Lexus lease can often be found in nationally advertised specials that indicate manufacturer subventing.

Unfortunately, subventing doesn't occur as often on luxury brands as other brands, which makes it likely that an independent leasing company can offer a better lease that a dealer. See our article, Luxury Car Leasing, for more details.
