Blogging for money means simply adding relevant advertisements on your blog that are related to the blog's topic. It's like placing automobile ads in car magazines. The visitors to your blog, who already have an interest in your topic, may be interested in what the ads have to offer.

Ads can be affiliate ads (you get a sales commission when a visitor buys the advertised product or service) or PPC (pay-per-click) ads. To make money, your blog should be about a specific topic, rather than be a general "here's what I did today" blog. What to Expect
Blogging for money can be somewhat more difficult that some of the other methods we discuss for making extra money. The reason is that you must keep your blog material fresh and attract lots of visitors. Not every visitor will be interested in every advertisement on your blog. Therefore, the more visitors you have, the better your chances of having good visitor-ad match-ups — and the more money you make.

How Can I Participate?
If you already have a blog (doesn't everybody?), you can simply add the advertisements to your blog template. Your pages will then automatically include the ads as you publish new content.

If you have a blog, whether you blog for money or not, you'll find it fun and enjoyable. It's easy to get started. Some excellent blogging software, such as the popular Wordpress, is actually free but you need a web site (get one cheap at GoDaddy.com ). If you don't want a web site, you can get started at Blogger.com, which is free. If you choose Blogger, there is a "Frequently Asked Questions" link that will tell you how to add advertisements to your blog pages.

This is an excellent way to make extra money on the Internet with little or no cost.
